Workshops & Intensives

"Bo's Art of Assisting workshop goes beyond the hands-on adjustment/alignment of the body in any given asana. Through detailed instructions and clear demonstrations I learned to carefully observe the presence and interconnectedness of the physical and emotional body- and as a teacher, to respond to it within safe and healthy boundaries through touch and verbal cues. I came out of this workshop feeling fine-tuned towards the manifestation of the emotional body and inspired to explore my own energies. This workshop should be required in every teacher training curriculum!"

Helene Gerstel, RYT

"Bo has the gift of a true soul teacher. She has guided my classmates and me along an inseparable route through the physical and emotional body to a place where we become able to follow the teaching of our own intuition and to transform our selves. This kind of teaching also requires 'un-teaching,' or helping to undo the patterns of negative thought and action that we hold in our bodies. Through Bo's teaching, I've begun to understand myself as an organism with a deep capacity to nourish and regenerate; she has taught my classmates and me how it is possible to develop, use, and restore our own energy."

Registering for Boston teacher training workshops:

We recognize that students who wish to augment their training may be interested in some of our Boston workshops. We try, whenever possible, to offer training spots to people outside our teacher training.

If you are interested in applying for a spot in one of the above teacher training workshops, please send an email to bo@elementalyoga.com describing your yoga background and goals for taking the training. Our Practice Manager will respond to your request. We make considerable effort to ensure that the weekend training will be a good fit for you, as well as for our teacher trainees.

When our Practice Manager has offered you a spot for one of our weekend trainings, you will be invoiced for the $250 workshop fee. Kindly wait to pay for a workshop until you have been approved. Please note that we will be unable to hold your spot in the training without payment. Please also be advised that we are unable to offer refunds to outside registrants for cancellations. Thank you.
